Hunter & Alyssa met during a slow pitch softball tournament! Of course, they were on opposing teams! Hmmm…. I wonder who’s team won? I guess it really doesn’t matter! What’s important is that they met and that Hunter & Alyssa made a connection that day! Maybe it was the fact that Alyssa had game and Hunter liked that in a woman! Anyway, They quickly fell in love and before Alyssa knew it, Hunter was asking her to be his bride! A bit of a romantic, Hunter is… As he asked her to marry him while they were in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opry Land Hotel under the twinkling lights! Sigh…. I love engagement stories!!!
Fast forward to this past Saturday, just 5 days ago… Hunter & Alyssa came together with their family and close friends and made vows to love each other for the rest of their lives. A beautiful country wedding in every way! With all the guys in Jeans and Boots and all the Bridesmaids in Short Dusty Blue Dresses and Cowgirl Boots, it was picture perfect! It was Hunter & Alyssa’s style to a Tee!!! Alyssa’s Mom (April) began a flower garden earlier in the year specifically for Alyssa’s wedding day. They wanted all fresh flowers everywhere. Well, let me tell you. They were everywhere. Every single flower included in the wedding, April grew in her garden! Gorgeous flowers for the bouquets, centerpieces on the tables at the reception and all the decor throughout the entire venue. Alyssa herself put together all the bouquets for her and her bridesmaids. They were simply… stunning.
There were so many special moments throughout the day! What an honor it must have been for Hunter and Alyssa to have Alyssa’s Grandpa, (George Musgrave) officiate the ceremony. 2 adorable flower girls (both nieces of Hunter & Alyssa) made a grand entrance down the aisle and gave quite the performance. An emotional moment for many at the very beginning of the ceremony, as soon as Alyssa walked down the aisle. Alyssa’s half sister’s (Zoey & Karlee) lit a candle in honor of their Dad who tragically passed away a little less than a year ago.
The weather was a bit cold, but that just meant that everyone just cuddled a little closer together. Hunter & Alyssa were finally married and it was time to celebrate! A wonderful reception full of fellowship, dancing and lots of fun dance moves was the perfect ending to Hunter & Alyssa’s big day! Which they ended with a Sparkler Exit! (My first sparkler exit ever! Whew, so glad I pulled it off). Here is a small collection of my favorite images from the day! Enjoy, and be sure to leave the newlyweds well wishes at the end!
